Kit ships in a few days; your report is usually ready a few weeks after your swab reaches the lab.
We want you to feel great about your purchase. Because EthaMap is a personalized genetic product, our policy balances fairness with the realities of a one-time-use DNA kit.
Unopened kits. If your kit is unused and unopened, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] to start a return. You cover return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Opened or registered kits. Once a kit has been opened, registered, or used, it can’t be returned or refunded — for hygiene reasons and because the sample materials are single-use.
Our free re-swab guarantee. If your sample doesn’t pass our quality check, we’ll send you a replacement swab at no cost. We’d rather redo it than give you a report we aren’t confident in.
Damaged or wrong items. If your kit arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, email [SUPPORT EMAIL] within 14 days with a photo and we’ll make it right.
Refund timing. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days of us receiving the returned item.
